Birthday Boy

Happy Birthday Jasper 1yr old today.
Me, Mum and Dagan were busy in the kitchen yesterday baking a liver cake for Jasper, we iced it with doggy chicken paste and decorated it with doggy treats, Jasper loved it!
Don't worry he didn't get to eat it all to himself, he had to share it with Keira, Brint and Sadie, but he still had quite a big puggy sized portion.
We all decided to give the liver cake a miss and chose a much nicer chocolate cake instead, it was yum!

Christmas Eve and a walk up the Balloch Hill

Today is Christmas Eve and we all went for a walk up the Balloch Hill, my Auntie Caroline came with us with her Jack Russell, Jake.
It was a lovely day with no signs of a White Christmas!

Spey Valley Christmas Party

On Tuesday night we had our annual Christmas Party at dog club, there was heaps of food and lots of party games, enjoyed by dogs and owners. there was also a fancy dress competition, Dagan won his class with Keira dressed as a reindeer, I got a 1st for the fastest sit with Jasper, Brint and Jasper were dressed up as Little red Riding Hood and the Big bad Wolf.

While I was at school on Wednesday, Mum met up with some of her doggy pals and went for a walk, with the dogs, up the Bin of Cullen. I have climbed it before, but Jasper was too little to come. Here are a couple of photos she took at the top>

B- Bopper n Keezy are my Mums German Shepherds, Keira is Brints Auntie and is the eldest of the two, Keira is sort of retired now but she is still the Boss, Brint is a bit of a Mummys boy and is working in obedience.

Show Wins!

In the 4 months I have been showing Jasper he has won quite a few rossettes, his best wins to date has been Best Toy Minor Puppy at both Carnoustie and Arbroath, he also got a VHC at SKC Championship Show, this was our first ever Champ Show and I was a bit nervous going into the ring, I have never seen so many pugs, I was so happy! Jasper on the other hand was more concerned about where the German Shepherds were.........

I am a member of Speyvalley Dog Training Club, where I train for Ringcraft every Tuesday night. I am also training Jasper for his Good Citizen Bronze Award and we would love to try our hand in Obedience sometime in the future. Before I started to show Jasper and I went to a Junior Handling Training Day, so we could learn about the art of Dog Show Handling. Jasper was a bit cheeky throughout, but because he was only 4 months and cause he is so cute I forgave him!
